BR Witmer Road Landfill
The Build-Ready Program is working with the Town of Wheatfield and Niagara County to advance two solar PV projects on the Witmer Road Landfill. The 60-acre landfill was operational from 1969 to 1976, taking in municipal, industrial solid, and chemical waste, and is now capped and closed. The Build-Ready Program entered into an agreement with the Town of Wheatfield and Niagara County and will continue its efforts to secure site control, complete environmental diligence, prepare interconnection applications, and continue engagement with the host community.
