2018 Solicitation

On April 25, 2018, NYSERDA issued its 2018 Renewable Energy Standard Request for Proposals (RESRFP18-1). It was the second request for proposals under the Clean Energy Standard. NYSERDA will issue a third Renewable Energy Standard request for proposals on April 22, 2019.

RESRFP18-1 resulted in 19 agreements to develop 1,364 MW of new, clean energy capacity throughout New York State. The agreements will also support development of 25 MW of utility-scale energy storage. The total funding committed through RESRFP18-1 is approximately $1.1 billion, and the weighted average price for these contracts was $18.52 for each Tier 1 REC. For more information on the awards, consult the 2018 Renewable Energy Standard Solicitation Fact Sheet [PDF] and the 2018 RES Standard Form Agreement [PDF].
