New York State Programs & Incentives
C&I Carbon Challenge—Competition for large businesses to unlock highly cost-effective carbon reduction opportunities. The C&I Carbon Challenge is part of the state's Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) , administered by the Regional Economic Development Councils. Learn more about the C&I Carbon Challenge.
Flexible Technical Assistance (FlexTech) Program—Financial support for completing an energy study to identify and evaluate opportunities to reduce energy costs and incorporate clean energy into capital planning. Eligible study areas can include energy efficiency technical analyses, creation of a long-term energy plan, investigation of distributed energy resources, and more. Strategic Energy Management Program—Funding for industrial manufacturing and water resource recovery facilities to complete a strategic energy management training program. Participants will learn to measure and track energy use, drive managerial and corporate behavior changes around energy, and more. Learn more about the Strategic Energy Management Program.
On-site Energy Manager Program—NYSERDA will cost-share a percentage of fees for hiring a dedicated on-site energy manager to assess and reduce energy usage. Projects may include preventive maintenance plans, process improvements, energy efficiency upgrades, and more. Commercial and industrial facilities or campuses that do not already have a dedicated full-time on-site energy manager are eligible. Learn more about the On-Site Energy Manager Program.
National Grid Programs & Incentives
Multifamily Program (Upstate)—National Grid offers Upstate multifamily customers a free energy evaluation, incentives for weatherization measure, rebates and incentives for LED lighting, and free installation of low-flow showerhead, faucet aerators, and wraps for hot water piping and tanks.
