Prevailing Wage Adder

Projects 1 MWac and greater in capacity where the initial utility interconnection application is submitted after April 14, 2022 must meet the prevailing wage requirements detailed in the NY-Sun Program Manual and are eligible for the Prevailing Wage Adder. Eligible projects in Upstate C/I Block 21 or later, and in the second Con Edison >1 MW Nonresidential Block or later, may opt-in to the prevailing wage requirements and receive the Prevailing Wage Adder.

Eligible projects in the Con Edison region receive an adder of $.20 per Watt and eligible projects in the Upstate region receive an adder of $.125 per Watt. Projects in the PSEG-Long Island service territory are not eligible.
