Find a Community Solar Project

Community solar is available to New Yorkers across the State. Use the tool below to find community solar providers offering subscriptions.

  1. Select your utility provider.
You can subscribe to any community solar project in your utility territory.*
  2. Enter your zip code.
The map automatically shows projects with availability in a 40-mile radius.**
Note: To see all projects, including those that may not have availability, select ‘Yes’ below
  3. Show projects prioritizing income-eligible residents.
You may have access to a larger discount if you are low-to moderate-income, reside in one of New York’s designated disadvantaged communities, or live in affordable housing. Use this filter to see projects prioritizing these residents.
  4. Explore the projects.
Community solar project providers are listed alphabetically with a link to their website. Each icon on the map shows a project’s location, the provider’s name, the savings rate, and if the project is prioritizing low-to moderate-income residents.
  5. Compare providers.
Learn about what you should expect from a community solar subscription on our How to Choose a Project page. You can contact as many providers as you want to determine which subscription is right for you.
